About Me

Here are a few things you should know about me...

Whatever life looks like for you, I would be honored to be part of it.

My Story

An enthusiast from the very beginning, I volunteered at a therapy clinic in high school to help me rein in a career choice. It felt natural at the age of 15 to be playful, and often goofy, to earn a child’s interest and trust. Whew, what a relief to escape the blooming world of adult responsibility (still relevant in 2024 by the way). I went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2006.

My first boss affectionately called me a “sponge.” To this day, I simply cannot get enough information to satisfy my fast-paced brain. I am a self-proclaimed bookworm whose learning extends to podcasts, research, conferences, and mentors. I am proudly obsessed with personal development and socially awkward relating to trending Netflix series because I don’t watch TV. Nada.

It has taken me 42 years to figure out the secret sauce of life (Sorry, it is my secret sauce so it will not work for you). It includes saying “no” to anything that is not a “heck yes,” managing my energy instead of my time, working out (almost) daily, and spending time in nature. I like wine every day of the week, but I exhibit some self-control on Tuesdays. Just kidding.

If you are a numbers person, I’ve worked directly with 1,887 families in the last 19 years, have 3 advanced certifications, and over 678 continuing education hours. Check out “My Portfolio” to hear more. I am also the proud wife of 1 and a mom of 3. I need you for at least another 3 hours if I am going to summarize everything I love about them. They are also part of my secret sauce.

I want you to know that my life has been significantly changed through my work with you. My experiences working with your kids has literally changed the way that I have raised my own children. I have become a mother who borrows your strength and resilience.  I have become a friend who better understands how to show up for others. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for letting me into your story.
