WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING SUPPORT FOR YOUR CHILD, There’s No Magic Button, But There Is A Better Way Forward

Real, lasting support happens step by step, with the right team in your corner.

With our help, you won’t have to guess what the “right” thing to do is.

Well, that’s not entirely true—and honesty matters far too much to us to promise you that.

You will still be the one doing the day-to-day discerning. But instead of guessing in the dark, you’ll know exactly which factors to consider and what options you actually have.

Decisions that used to feel heavy will start to carry flow and ease. You’ll step out of the search for answers and become the confident advocate who truly understands your child and helps other family members and caregivers do the same.

THE METHOD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Why We Use the DIRFloortime® Method

Developed by child psychiatrist Dr. Stanley Greenspan and clinical psychologist Dr. Serena Wieder, DIRFloortime® is a respectful, neurodiversity-affirming framework that underpins everything we do.

It’s not as widely known only because it isn't funded in the same way as traditional therapies like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). And while funding matters, what matters more is that you know all your options—not just the ones that are easiest to find.

Because this method changes lives every single day.

We’re here to work with your child’s strengths to lift up lagging skills, using their real interests to spark genuine joy and emotional connection—putting your child’s preferences ahead of our own agendas. And that’s what DIRFloortime® is all about.

Here is what it actually means for your family:

  • D — Developmental Capacities: DIRFloortime® maps out 9 core developmental capacities. As both a professional and a parent, this is why I fell in love with the model. It gives you a clear roadmap of what comes first and how skills naturally build on top of one another (no guessing needed).
  • I — Individual Differences: This is everything that makes your child unique. We tune into your child’s distinct profile—from sensory processing and motor planning to how they understand the world around them—so we support them as they truly are.
  • R — Relationships: Everything meaningful in life grows out of relationships. While learning often requires practice and repetition, the most powerful, lasting growth happens through human connection, safety, and shared joy.
  • Floortime: Playing on the floor—or wherever your child feels most engaged. That might be jumping on a trampoline, dancing in a mirror, or swinging side-by-side. Wherever shared joy happens, that’s where real learning takes root.

Once you complete your core program, you’ll receive an invitation to stay connected and supported long-term.

No matter how you work with us, you can always count on:

A team that deeply cares: We aren't just clinicians or consultants; we become honorary "aunts" to so many of the families we serve.

Zero judgment, period: Forget the Zoom clutter, marriage tension, or total exhaustion. We are here for real life, not a polished performance.

A culture of genuine curiosity: Every question is welcomed and encouraged, especially the ones you're worried might sound "stupid" or "silly."

A commitment to real life over perfection: We actively model that growth isn't always tidy, and life rarely comes wrapped in a neat little bow.

A team that matches your energy: We double down on the families who are ready to do the work. The effort you put in? We will match it every single step of the way.

Decades of perspective in your corner: You aren't in this alone. You have the calm, seasoned wisdom of a team that knows there is always a way forward.

I finally feel like I have a provider who truly understands my child.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kerri, our DIR/Floortime OT. She takes a true whole child and whole family approach and, more than any provider we have worked with, looks at the why behind my son’s behavior rather than labeling him as defiant or attention seeking.

She gave me the language and insight to understand my son, helped us identify his strengths and needs, and adapted strategies to work for him and our family. She supported my spouse, included his sibling in sessions, collaborated with his school and other caregivers, communicated quickly, and was incredibly patient as we navigated insurance.

Most importantly, Kerri met us where we were. She came to our home when transitions were difficult and gained my son’s trust almost immediately. I finally feel like I have a provider who truly understands my child.

Her course and support group have also given me invaluable tools and support as this journey continues to change. Her compassionate, positive approach has made an enormous difference for our whole family. We are so grateful we found her.”

— Kelsey D.

This intensive was different from anything we have tried.

Since doing the Intensive, my son has become twenty to thirty percent more verbal! I have switched gears to be a better listener and help with not only his co-regulation but also my own regulation. This intensive was different from anything we have tried. The focus and application was different and everything was centered on engaging my son.

She used this high interest to help guide the way to other play and speech, rather than discouraging this love.

We were referred to Kerri from our developmental pediatrician because we knew DIRFloortime® was the best fit for our family. Kerri came in and immediately built a relationship with our child while giving him the space and time he needed to adjust to a familiar face. She became a vital asset to our child's team, connecting with teachers and always being available for feedback during the weeks and times we didn't have sessions. Not only was she a key member in our child's advocacy team and she felt like family. From the way she sits on the floor playing side by side with your child, challenging them to meet their goals, to her inquisitive nature, seeing where my child would lead her in play and conversation. When Kerri arrived my child was so rigid in his play and speech, having high interest in all things lawn care. She used this high interest to help guide the way to other play and speech, rather than discouraging this love. While we now see Kerri on a consult basis, she is still available for feedback and hops on calls when we have questions. It's been years since we met Kerri and every day when I look at my child I see just how far he's come and we can thank Kerri for that.
